Family Housing Association is much more than ‘just’ a landlord. As well as providing high quality affordable housing, we invest in creating sustainable communities that enable all the residents who live there to thrive. Community Investment is a key part of what makes Family special.

By working with the whole community, rather than focussing solely on our tenants, we are striving to improve well-being and develop ‘social capital’ – the health, wealth and happiness of local residents.

Our Community Investment activity focuses on delivering activities around a number of key themes:

· Providing high quality Training & Employment opportunities

· Supporting refugees and ‘newly arrived’ residents

· Tackling fuel poverty and the impact of climate change, ie ‘Eco projects’

· Improving health and family support provision

Our regeneration projects and staff are externally funded.
