Family Housing has three schemes for Older People. One scheme is managed by a specialist organisation for Asian elders. Two schemes are managed directly by Family Housing.

Helena Walsh Court Handsworth 
This scheme has 11 self contained new build one bedroom flats for Asian elders. There is an emergency Warden call alarm, lift and communal lounge. It is managed for Family Housing by Birmingham Asian Resource Centre   Tel. 0121 523 0580.

Beech Court Saltley 
This is a purpose built scheme for people aged 60 and over, or over 55 years who have a disability. Beech Court has 41 one bedroom flats including 2 with wheelchair access, plus 2 wheelchair access bungalows and one let house. Chestnut Walk Henley in Arden, Warwickshire 
This is Leasehold scheme for older people. Family Housing provides all leasehold services and a resident scheme manager to provide advice and support. There are 51 self contained 1 and 2 bed apartments in 2 blocks, Aspen and Blackthorn Court, for owners 60yrs+. There is a Warden call system, lifts, communal lounges, guest room and a laundry in Blackthorn. A Resident Scheme Manager lives in the bungalow between the 2 blocks.
