Sizzling street party celebrates regeneration success

Cooking outside, two top chefs provided a sumptious range of dishes for the local residents of The Hollies, The Laurels, The Limes and The Elms in North West Birmingham, to celebrate the regeneration success to the area. Environmental improvements with a value of over £300,000 has been undertaken on the four rows of terraced houses leading off Marroway Street which included fitting new boundary walls, new railings, gates, lighting and high quality paving.

Stephen Dunne set to run marathon and raise money for national housing charity.

Stephen Dunne from Family Housing Association (Birmingham) Ltd is currently training hard for the London marathon on Sunday 23rd April which he has entered to represent hact (the Housing Associations’ Charitable Trust) and Family Housing Association, Birmingham. Stephen has nominated Cancer Research UK as his secondary charity as he is working as a Housing Co-ordinator in the Nechells Ward of Birmingham which experiences the worst health issues in the City...
