  Board member hatrick of new appointments

Family Housing Association (Birmingham) Ltd has recently strengthened its Board with the recruitment of three new members to its Board of Management.

 

Olivia is a Programme Director for Groundwork, a leading environmental regeneration charity. Prior to joining Groundwork, Olivia was studying for a PhD at Birmingham University looking at stakeholder engagement in environmental decision making in four EU countries. She has a wealth of experience in environmental issues and working on social and economic improvements for the most deprived communities of Birmingham & Solihull.

 

Ernon has been a resident with Family Housing for the last 17 years and is currently self-employed. He has previously worked as a Housing Manager for Birmingham University where he gained experience in housing and property management issues. He has also been a Community Development Worker based in the Summerfield area of the city and voluntary board member of Halow, a small Birmingham charity. Ernon was also an active member of the Family Housing Tenants Forum.

 

Shaun will shadow a Board member currently on long-term leave of absence. A serving police officer with the West Midlands Police, Shaun has worked in the force for over 30 years. He is also the Police Liaison Officer for Coventry City Council Community Safety Team and a member of the Coventry Local Strategic Partnership.

 

Shaun has a great deal of experience in dealing with Anti-Social Behaviour and drug issues and is currently the police lead with Coventry Community Safety Partnership. In addition, he works with several charities and is a member of three steering committees for supported housing and projects supporting minority ethnic groups. Shaun is retiring from the Police at the end of February 2006 to take up the position of Operations Manager for the new Coventry City Council Community Wardens service.
