Anyone living in Birmingham can have FREE swimming, group exercise classes and gym sessions!
This scheme is called Be Active and is run by Birmingham City Council in partnership with the NHS. It is to help all Birmingham residents get free access to a more active and healthier lifestyle and it is anticipated to run until March 2011.
To use the service, you will need to visit your local leisure centre for an application form and provide two documents which show your name and address. You will then get a Leisure Card to access any leisure centre for free.
