For the princely sum of £20, we have spread our wings and put our money on White Tips, a young male pigeon hatched on March 24 2011, who resides at pigeon loft Project Pigeon.  He flew his first race on July 23, when he flew 76 miles in a respectable two hours and five minutes. 

White Tips will now race every week until September 17 when the racing season for young birds finishes.

Project Pigeon works with pigeons as a way of bringing people together.
