How to get involved with Family
We understand that different people have different interests and commitments. Therefore, we provide a range of opportunities for residents to have their say. We will thank you for your time with our Points mean Prizes scheme, where you can collect points in exchange for shop vouchers of your choice.
Some examples on how you can get involved include:
Annual Resident Event – Join in the fun, meet staff and have your say at our resident events.
Day Trips – Come along and have a fun day out, organised for all the family.
One Voice, The Residents Forum – representatives from our service groups meet every 3 months to help make corporate decisions.
Service Groups - Work with management from different service areas to monitor performance and suggest areas for improvement.
Resident Service inspectors – With other tenant inspectors look closely at an area of service and make recommendations on how we can improve.
Mystery Shopping - Monitor the services we provide from the comfort of your own home. Mystery Shopping involves residents contacting the office, asking a set of questions and recording our level of service. We provide training and support to help residents with mystery shopping. If you have received this training then please download our mystery shopping form at any time to test our services. You can provide your comments by e-mail or post.
(1) Mystery Shopper feedback form by e-mail
(2) Mystery Shopper feedback form to print and return to us by post.
Surveys – We carry out postal, telephone and face to face surveys on a range of our services.
Local Residents Meetings - local groups meet and discuss issues affecting the area where you live.
Resident Board Member - join Family's Board of Management.
We will pay all travel and child care costs for any meetings you attend.
Points Mean Prizes
To thank all our residents for their involvement and giving up their time we offer a reward scheme called Points mean Prizes. Through our resident involvement activities you can earn points which can be exchanged for shopping vouchers. The scheme is administered through the Birmingham Law Centre.
