Training and Support for Resident Involvement

 

We provide training to help residents develop new skills, such as:

·       Confidence building

·       Employment skills

·       Meeting skills

·       Money Management

·       Housing Association basics

·       Equality and Diversity

Support
To support resident involvement at Family, we:

·       Provide a dedicated involvement team. 

·       Pay travel costs, childcare and caring expenses.

·       Produce a Customer 1st news bulletin

·       Provide a yearly training programme which has been developed with residents to enable individuals to build up confidence, skills and knowledge.

 

Outcomes
All Resident Involvement activities at Family are designed to achieve measurable outcomes both for the resident and for the Association. We would expect to see continuously improving and better value services as a result of Resident Involvement activity.
